About Us
Inspired Minds is an adult day program that is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to offer exceptional person-centered services to individuals with intellectual and or developmental disabilities regardless of their background or capabilities and is supported by trained, dedicated, and compassionate staff to develop independent living skills and opportunities for personal growth.
Inspired Minds currently has a presence in the Northern Virginia area, with referrals from Fredericksburg, Stafford County, Prince William County, Fairfax County, Loudon, and surrounding communities. To empower individuals with disabilities to develop independent living skills and provide them with opportunities for personal growth.
Our Vision
To support individuals with creating independent and sustainable lifestyles that are tailored to each person’s unique needs and preferences. As we pursue these goals and adhere to our values, we envision communities where individuals with intellectual and or developmental disabilities can thrive successfully.
Our Services
We receive referrals from many case managers based ongreat recommendations from individuals and families, which makes us a preferred provider for several Community Services Boards. Our services are funded through the DD Waivers, county funding, and private pay.
Group Day
Our spacious and well-equipped day program site host most group day activities. It is designed to offer creative onsite activities to support individuals with developing their skills regarding positive social interactions, interpersonal capability, personal care, greater independence, and safety skills.
Community Engagement
Community engagement is one of the core values of Inspired Minds. All individuals are offered the opportunity to experience the community daily.
